Ivana Calovic, owner and chief architect of LakeSideDevelopment AG, expressed the sustainability in her architecture in 1990 with the words: "The ailments of art, architecture and technology are cured with nature", and has consistently implemented it ever since.

The location, the topography and the microclimate define the orientation and spatial arrangement of the building. In addition, LakeSideDevelopment AG uses local conditions for passive and active solar energy utilization, natural ventilation and cooling. This optimizes energy efficiency of current technology. The building works like an organism in symbiosis with the natural environment.
